This week's Happenings on the Hill were packed with Christmas celebrations, trophy presentations, exciting Robotics Competitions, and meaningful service projects. It's been a semester full of incredible moments, achievements, and memories we'll cherish. As we head into Christmas break, we'll miss seeing all of your smiling faces around campus! May this season remind us of the greatest gift ever given—Jesus Christ, our Savior. Yesterday was an incredible day as we celebrated our football team's success with the 2025 3A State Champion Trophy Presentation. Mayor Tyler presented the team with a certificate of commendation, recognizing their outstanding achievement and dedication and AHSAA Assistant Director Caleb Ross shared words of congratulations, celebrating the hard work and excellence our team has displayed throughout the season. Coach Higgins delivered a powerful message that captured what this team is truly about. Quoting Luke 9:25, he said, "For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul." His words reminded us all that while he's proud of the team's physical accomplishments and athletic success, he's even prouder of the Christian young men they've become and the character they display every day. This team has proven that true championship spirit goes beyond the scoreboard, It's about faith, integrity, and being men of character both on and off the field. Congratulations to our state champions! We are all so incredibly proud of you! 💙🏈
