President
Dr. Laws Rushing II serves as the president of Mars Hill Bible School. Before beginning his tenure at MHBS, he served as president of Riverside Christian Academy in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Dr. Rushing is the preaching minister for the Jacksonburg Church of Christ. His first book, Mountaintop Living, was recently published by Mars Hill Press. He is a native of west Tennessee and has extensive leadership experience in education, ministry, and nonprofit organizations. He was named Lincoln County’s Rotarian of the Year and served as club president.
Dr. Rushing is married to Stacey, his wife of fifteen years, and they have a seventh grade daughter, River Belle, and a son, Arlo.
