2021 Season Preview:
The preseason Coaches Poll ranked Mars Hill Girls Varsity Soccer 4th in the state. Although the 2020 season was cut short due to Covid-19, three juniors received state recognition for their 6-game performance. Emma Reeves received 1st team all-state honors for defense. Samantha King received first team all-state honors for midfield/offense. Sadie Killen received 2nd team all-state honors. Two of the seniors will likely play at the next level and all 3 seniors will lead the team with added strength and physicality. The program also has returning starters in the midfield and defense from a strong sophomore and freshman class with no juniors. In addition they have added several transfers. Mars Hill looks to be a very young but very solid program for the 2021 season.
