The MHBS chorus demonstrates both excellence and service. The senior chorus has earned 21 consecutive superior ratings in district comptetion and over 40 in the group's history.

It has also captured superior ratings in music festivals from Orlando to New York and has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to awards and honors, the chorus actively participates in trips and mission efforts. The chorus presents several church programs each year as well, visiting churches throughout the Shoals area.
