MHBS has hosted a band program for over 25 years. Students participate beginning in 5th grade, allowing for a strong foundation in musical fundamentals. All band students perform in multiple concerts throughout the year. Students in grades 7-12 have the additional opportunity in perform in the pep and jazz bands as well as participate in a trip each semester.

All band students learn to read music, enhance their performance skills, and build their confidence.
