A LOFTY GOAL FOR A YOUNG SQUAD!

With numerous trips to the state tournament under their belt, Coach Denise Willingham hopes to send her talented girls' squad to one of the school's best state finishes. With a team that has no juniors or seniors, the Lady Panthers easily swept through the area tournament, winning five of six singles' matches and all three doubles matches. Jessie Bratcher was undefeated in #1 singles play in the area. The doubles team of Bratcher and Lindsey Butler were also unbeaten in section play. The Lady Panthers begin play at the state tournament in Montgomery on Monday, April 26.

 

BOYS EARN SECOND IN AREA; RETURN TO STATE TOURNAMENT

Starting three seventh graders, Coach Denise Willingham was in a rebuilding mold with her boys' squad. All six starters from last year's squad had to be replaced but Mrs. Willingham was pleased with their progress and the squad finished second in area play and open their play at the state on Monday, April 26.

 

 

 

BROCK TIFFIN CAPTURES #1 SINGLES TITLE

It's not often that a freshman can earn the title as the best singles player in an area during his freshman year, but Brock Tiffin managed to do just that, marching through area play undefeated and leading the Panthers to a second place area finish.
