CELEBRATION 2009: AWESOME

Colorful. Energetic. Professional. Great Music and Choreography. Dazzling costumes. Hours and hours of hard work. A crowd pleaser. Select any of the references above and you still couldn't explain the value of Show Choir. The performances are spectacular and tickets are in great demand. Hours before the tickets go on sale, lines begin to form as would-be purchasers bring chairs, breakfast, books and newspapers to read and other things to pass the hours. It's Mars Hill's answer to lines waiting for tickets to "New Moon," the NCAA football championship in Pasadena or the latest Harry Potter novel. The two-hour performances drew rave reviews from audience members. Comments like, "It's as good as anything we see in Branson or Pigeon Forge," "I can't believe those were high school students--they're so polished" and "That was just an amazing performance; I wish everyone could see it" were commonplace.

TAYLOR'S RESPONSE:

One of the 'hits' from "Celebration 2009" was junior John Adams "Taylor's Response". The song followed Marit Winborn's earlier solo, "Taylor, the Latte Boy!"
