AN EDUCATION THAT INCLUDES EXCEPTIONAL ACADEMICS

Providing a Christian education does not mean sacrificing a superior academic program. The success of MHBS students in every facet of their lives speaks volumes for the quality of the education received: the highest test scores in the area and among the highest in the state, an average of two-thirds of each graduating class earning college scholarships, being accepted into the nation's leading universities, earning top honors in every academic competition, and later success in college and vocational careers. Scripture teaches that we love God with our mind as well as our heart and MHBS believes that means we encourage every student to be the best he/she can be in every area of life.

 

MHBS OFFERS A DISTINCTIVELY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

 

From the opening day of class in the fall of 1947 to today, the goal of Mars Hill Bible School is and has been to offer a quality education in a uniquely Christian environment. That means studying biblical values and following the example of Jesus. The first chapel of each school year opens by focusing faculty and student attention on Luke 2:52 where the writer explains that Jesus "grew in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man."
