Mars Hill Bible School
middle school
The Middle School Program is designed to prepare students for the advanced courses available starting in their freshman year as they begin the Block Schedule that mimics college work. Every class is designed to broaden and solidify the key academic foundations.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN A CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT IS THE GOAL OF THE MHBS MIDDLE SCHOOL

A quick look at test scores in grades 5-8 indicates that quality learning is taking place in the classrooms. Stanford Achievement Test (SAT) scores are among the highest in the state. The fifth grade classes consistently average 92 on the exam with other classes scoring composites in the 80s. An average of two-thirds to three-fourths of each seventh and eighth grade class qualifies for the Duke Talent Search and the Joseph Baldwin Academy for Eminent Young Scholars.
