Mike Mitchell Athletic Director Mr. Mitchell ('74) oversees the total MHBS athletic program and coaches boys' basketball. He has coached five MH girls' basketball teams to state titles. He also coached a state runner-up in both girls' basketball and baseball. His teams have advanced to the state playoffs for five consecutive years, finishing as state runner-up in 2008. In her first season she has guided a team with no seniors to finish in a tie for the area championship. Both boys' and girls' teams have earned area titles. He has coached six section championship teams and two teams that finished fourth in the state tournament and one that finished as state runner-up.
