NATIONAL FORENSIC LEAGUE DISTRICT/NATIONAL QUALIFIERS
- Connor Lyons and Amy Chiou are the champion duo interpretation team for Alabama and earned a berth in the National Forensic League National Tournament in Kansas City in June. The duo interpretation team of Will Brown and Josh Davis finished 4th. John Adams finished 4th in dramatic interpretation and Josh Davis was 5th in humorous interpretation. The freshman public forum team of Rachel Parker and Molly Moore finished in a tie for 8th (out of 50 entries).

- Molly Moore and Lucas Rhoden won the 2010 novice state championship in Public Forum Debate the second weekend in April. Maggie McCoy also earned the state championship in impromptu speaking. The tournament was held in Montgomery. Molly and Lucas defeated a team from Vestavia Hills HS in the semi-final round and a team from Spain Park HS in the finals.
