SENIOR CLASS STAGES "HAPPY DAZE"
"Happy Daze" by William Gleason was staged October 14-15 by the Class of 2012. Directed by Mrs. J. J. Davenport, the presentation drew excellent audiences to Morris Auditorium. “I think the seniors had a great time producing this play. They created some great moments on stage and some great memories as well,” Mrs. Davenport noted.
"SEUSSICAL, THE MUSICAL" A BIG HIT
The Drama Department's presentation of the abbreviated musical, "Seussical, the Musical" in Morris Auditorium on February 4-6, 2011 proved to be a big hit with parents, relatives, friends and members of the community. Even though snow forced the postponement of a Friday matinee for students from area schools, the cast was able to reschedule the performances for Monday. Under the direction of Mrs. J. J. Davenport, the play includeed a large number of elementary and middle school children as well as alumni, high school cast and crew.
Key parts included alumnus Josh Davis ('10) in the role of Horton and senior Connor Lyons in the role of the Cat in the Hat. Mayzie was played by Brittany Brown and the role of Gertrude was filled by Sydney Perreault. Other members of the cast included Lucas Anderson (Jo-Jo), Mary Brooke Willis (Sour Kangaroo), Carrie Holt (The Grinch), Jackson Turner (Vlad Vladikoff), Zane Patterson (Mr. Mayor), Natalie Chowning (Mrs. Mayor), Mary E. Wright (Yertle the Turtle), Annie Pierce (Thing 1) and Kayla Butler (Thing 2).
