Mars Hill Bible School
Daily bible and chapel
Daily Bible classes and chapel periods have always been a key part of the Mars Hill environment. From the days of Mars Hill Academy (1870-1888) to the current Mars Hill Bible School, a Christian education has been central to the school's mission.

DAILY BIBLE CLASSES

MHBS offers a unique, in-depth study of the Bible through daily class study. From the elementary years when students learn basic Bible stories from the lives of important men and women such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, Ruth, David, Mary and Joseph, Jesus and the apostles and a host of others to in-depth studies of specific books of the Bible such as the Gospels, Acts and Letters in the New Testament during the high school years, students learn biblical facts and applications.

ELEMENTARY CHAPEL: A MARS HILL LEGACY

context

One fond memory most MHBS alumni have of the school centers around the elementary chapel. In the school's early days, Mr. Ralph Snell's chapel became a highlight of the day as he made the Bible come alive for students. That tradition continues today. If you question the value of a Mars Hill Bible School education, you should do what scores of parents do--come and observe the children and what occurs during a normal chapel. The singing alone is worth the visit. Elementary chapel is at 8:05 a.m.
