Mars Hill Bible School
CHORUS
The oldest organization on campus, the chorus was organized in the fall of 1947 and has continued to the present. Nearly 100 members comprise the senior chorus.

SUPERIOR AGAIN!

The high school chorus earned superior ratings from all four judges at the annual state competition in March 2011. The middle school chorus obtained a composite superior rating from their judges.

ALL-STATE CHORUS 2011-2012

The following students were named to the Alabama All-State Chorus: Middle School All-State performer is Rebecca Hennigan. Ellen Davenport, Sidney Harmon, Annsley Wilson and Rachel Parker were members of the High School All-State Chorus. 

A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE

The MHBS chorus demonstrates both excellence and service. The senior chorus has earned 17 consecutive superior ratings in district comptetion and over 40 in the group's history. It has also captured superior ratings in music festivals from Orlando to New york and has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to awards and honors, the chorus actively participates in mission efforts. Its most recent mission program outside the United States involved helping with the construction of church buildings in Mexico. The chorus presents 12-13 church programs each year as well.

Choral students love to perform! Whether at one of 13 church programs during the year, at Veteran's Day or the Benefit Dinner, at a special concert or in district or state competitions, the looks on their faces tell you they enjoy what they do!
