FALL CENTRAL ALABAMA MEETING
The Central Alabama Alumni Association met November 7, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at Sweet Bones Alabama at The Summitt on US 280 South. Dr. Kenny Barfield and Mr. David Willingham met with the group to share updates regarding the school. A second meeting will be scheduled for the spring.
CENTRAL ALABAMA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BEGINS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
The goal of the Central Alabama Alumni Association was to endow a scholarship that will assist families in the Shoals who otherwise would not be able to afford to do so, to send their children to Mars Hill. This is the first Alumni Association Scholarship and the scholarship is now a reality. Funding began at the October, 2009 meeting held at Jim and Nick's Restaurant in Birmingham.
