ACCELERATED READER LINKS TO ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Numerous studies indicate that the ability to read effectively provides a critical link to improved academic achievement. MHBS language arts faculty utilize the Accelerated Reader program in grades K-8 to achieve that purpose. Reading scores for MHBS students on the Stanford Achievement Test and the ACT continue to surpass those in all other areas.
